We are specialists in corporate compliance

We are specialised in advising, implementing and supporting corporate governance and corporate compliance in the non-financial sector.

We support companies, non-profit organisations (such as foundations, associations, federations, etc.) and public authorities in acting with integrity. We advise regulated companies such as banks and insurance companies on aspects in the non-regulated sector, e.g. the development and expansion of structures and processes for the prevention and investigation of criminal offences or of non-discriminatory processes and structures.

What we do

Establishing a modern compliance structure

We support companies, authorities and other organisations in establishing a contemporary corporate governance and compliance structure. Our focus is on promoting behaviour with integrity by management and employees. To this end, we combine our expertise and our internationally gained in-house and consulting experience with our know-how in the practical implementation of behavioural changes (behavioural economics).

Impact-oriented prevention measures

Prevention – i.e. minimising the risk of compliance violations – is the most efficient and cost-effective method that organisations can take in the context of compliance measures. We work with you to develop the most effective measures for your organisation and support their implementation on site.

Development of existing compliance

We help organisations to adapt existing corporate governance and compliance structures and processes to new challenges. We adapt compliance programmes, for example, to the expansion of a business, new legal requirements or increased stakeholder demands. With our practical experience across industries and sectors we are able to add value.

Training concepts and courses

Training is an essential part of preventing compliance breaches and promoting integrity. Efficient compliance training focuses on sustainable behavioural change. We develop training concepts in face-to-face, videoconference and e-learning formats. In doing so we make use of our many years of inhouse training expertise, proven in companies, universities and higher education institutions. We train the organisation’s in-house trainers and, if desired, also take over the implementation of such training courses.

Analysis and assessment of existing compliance

We ensure that organisations benefit from a “best practice” corporate governance and compliance system that is appropriate to their size. To this end, we analyse and assess the implemented system for up-to-dateness and make practical suggestions for optimisation.

Qualification of management bodies and individuals

We train the management body (e.g. board of directors, executive board, board of foundations, management of authorities) in relevant compliance topics. In addition, we bring new or future members of a management body up to the current compliance level of the respective organisation. To do this, we use our experience from more than ten years of continuous training and qualification of current and future members of management bodies.

Process and structures for own internal investigations

We enable organisations to professionally conduct their own internal investigations of indications of compliance violations by establishing and expanding efficient structures and processes. For more information please click here.

Project and interim management in compliance

We take over the management of specific time restricted compliance projects for organisations. This may involve the implementation, expansion or temporary operation of such a project. In addition, we relieve organisations through our interim management in the compliance area. We provide support, for example, in the event of a temporary absence or vacancy of a corresponding compliance function. Our management skills root in more than 20 years of practical experience from working in and and consulting international companies.
